Brandon Copeland

Hello my name is Brandon, and I am a coach at Dance UK.  All my life I have been inspired by dance but I didn’t start dancing until I was 8 years old, when I first joined Dance UK as a student. As soon as I joined I started to develop a passion for dance and I decided to invest a lot of my time into training and getting better. I have now been dancing for 12 years at Dance UK and I have learned so many things. I decided to become a coach at Dance UK because I wanted to inspire kids to love dance as much as my former coach, Bilal inspired me. I like to push students to their limits and help them achieve their goals in dance and reach their full potential.

Outside of Dance UK I am currently at Glasgow Clyde College full time studying HND sports coaching and development. This also ties in with coaching at Dance UK as it helps me to learn new different coaching techniques and how to become a better coach. As well as coaching dancing, my college course allows me to coach other sports that help me gain experience. One sport that I coach in particular is football because, growing up,  I have always played competitively and this helped me keep fit and taught me discipline to actually train and focus if I wanted to succeed.
