What we do at Mini Movers

Mini Movers is an inspiring, creative and progressive dance programme carefully developed to challenge little minds and bodies.

Boys and girls can start from 2years old and the classes are led by fully qualified, highly trained, experienced teachers of dance education.

Mini Movers Level 1 (Age 2-3 yrs)

Level 1 is a gentle introduction to the early stages of ballet which develops posture and muscular strength and tap dance which develops an appreciation of music and rhythm.
Mini Movers also learn ‘funky’ pop dance moves to great music they’ll love!

The weekly class is also filled with fun exercises to improve flexibility.

With group singing and themed classes which change each month, for example,
‘A Day at the Beach’ and ‘Cowboys and Cowgirls’, there’s lots to keep our little ones challenged and happy!

Mini Movers Level 2 (age 3-4 yrs)

Level 2 is a progression of Level 1 introducing more structured dance techniques in ballet, tap and pop dance but the classes are still based round our ever popular themed stories. Great for the imagination!

Progression

All Mini Movers prepare for a Christmas Open Day and small scale Summer Showcase to which all family are invited. The events are held in local venues and are always popular.
Children are assessed throughout the year and are awarded a Certificate of Progress and Mini Movers Medal on completion of each stage.
