About Us

Dance UK was launched in 2005 by well known Glasgow based dance expert; Jacqui Wilson. Now based at their Head Offices in Glasgow's West End, Jacqui works with a full time Professional Staff.
Before this, Jacqui had a wide and varied career in teaching, choreography and theatrical stage production as well as running the highly successful Jacqui Wilson Dance Studio.

She has worked with thousands of aspiring, young dancers over the years and has seen numerous Students go on to successful careers themselves. In addition to this, she has been a Dance Lecturer at the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama, Glasgow, the Dance School of Scotland, Knightswood Secondary School, Glasgow and the Elizabeth Henderson School of Ballet in Glasgow.

Jacqui Wilson and her team have produced numerous, spectacular Stage Productions in prestigious venues, notably, The Theatre Royal, Glasgow, Citizens Theatre, Glasgow and most recently at the Clyde Auditorium SECC, Glasgow giving thousands of youngsters the opportunity to train and perform in a Professional Environment.

Since it's inception, Dance UK has grown both in size and reputation to become a leading provider of first class tuition in Dance, Drama and Singing. Dance UK teaches the prestigious syllabus of the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing and is registered with the Council for Dance Education and Training(UK).

Dance UK also has a growing network of Branch Schools opening across the West of Scotland.
